Elon Musk and Donald Trump, once seen as political allies, are now publicly feuding. Their relationship soured after Musk criticized one of Trump’s bills and made serious allegations involving Jeffrey Epstein.
In a now-deleted tweet, Musk claimed: “@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files… that’s why they haven’t been released.” He followed up with: “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.” Musk offered no proof, but the accusation quickly gained attention.
Trump, asked about their relationship, said: “I would assume so, yeah.” He claimed he had helped Musk during his first term but had no plans to speak to him again. He warned there would be “consequences” if Musk supported Democratic campaigns.
Shortly after Trump’s comments, Musk deleted the tweets about Epstein and calls for Trump’s impeachment. Though he gave no explanation, the timing suggests a quiet retreat after Trump’s warning.
Once allies, the two powerhouses now seem locked in a high-stakes public fallout.
