Cameos and Fun Facts
The real Erin Brockovich appears as a waitress in the opening scene. “It was like an out-of-body experience,” she said about watching Julia Roberts play her. Her real lawyer, Ed Masry, is also in the diner scene.
Fact vs. Fiction
While the film is mostly accurate, Erin clarified she never used her looks to manipulate. “I heard comments about my clothes, cleavage, and language. I didn’t have time for that,” she told Vulture. She also noted she was Miss Pacific Coast, not Miss Wichita.

The Real George
The character George was based on Erin’s ex-boyfriend, Jorge Halaby. “He lifted me up and loved my kids,” she said. Sadly, Jorge later passed away from a brain tumor.
Erin’s Legacy
Today, Erin fights for environmental justice. “People were poisoned, and they knew it,” she said. Her story is about courage, not just Hollywood drama.
