In their cozy suburban home, Michael and Amber celebrated their first Christmas with their adopted twins, Tom and Eliza. Their festive spirit was interrupted by their opinionated neighbor, Margaret. “I understand Christmas is coming, but your decorations are shining right into my window,” she griped. Despite their efforts to compromise, the tension was palpable.

Michael grew wary of Margaret’s unusual behavior, especially her interest in the children. One day, he noticed Margaret talking to the twins, then both she and the children disappeared. “Tom! Eliza!” he called out in panic, suspecting Margaret had taken them. Amber called 911, and the police began searching for them.

Michael and Amber entered Margaret’s house, discovering walls covered with photos of the twins. They realized she might have taken them to a different address. On their way, they spotted her car and managed to stop her. In the ensuing struggle, the children fell into a river, but Michael heroically saved them. Margaret, in tears, confessed, “I’m sorry.
