England’s Lionesses made history by beating Spain on penalties to win the European title again. Alessia Russo scored the equalizer, and goalkeeper Hannah Hampton became the hero, saving two penalties despite a lifelong eye condition. The team’s victory was even more remarkable as Lucy Bronze revealed she played much of the tournament with a fractured tibia.
But what caught fans’ attention during the medal ceremony was a young girl standing beside Prince William. Many wondered why Princess Charlotte, who attended the match, wasn’t by his side. Social media quickly lit up with admiration for the girl, with one fan writing, “The little girl next to Prince William during the medal ceremony is killing me. Bless her, fully trying to cut him out of the handshake proceedings.”
Chloe Kelly was so sweet with the little girl, she stopped, chatted with her warmly, then gave her a gentle hug.

It was later revealed that the girl, named Greta, is part of the UEFA Foundation for Children. She has epilepsy and was invited as part of her dream experience. UEFA described her as “cheerful, open-minded, and passionate about sport,” making her an inspiring choice for the ceremony.
