Actor Julian McMahon has died at the age of 56 after a private battle with cancer, his wife Kelly Paniagua confirmed. Best known for roles in Charmed, Nip/Tuck, and as Doctor Doom in Fantastic Four, McMahon passed away peacefully in Clearwater, Florida, on July 2.

In a heartfelt tribute, Paniagua said, “Julian loved life, his family, his friends, his work, and his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible.” She asked for privacy as the family grieves and encouraged fans to keep finding joy in his memory.

McMahon, son of former Australian Prime Minister William McMahon, starred in Nip/Tuck from 2003–2010 and played Cole Turner in Charmed. He later appeared in FBI: Most Wanted and Netflix’s The Residence. His last film, The Surfer, premiered this year alongside Nicolas Cage.

Tributes poured in from colleagues. Cage called him “one of my favorite people,” and director Robert Connolly praised his passion and professionalism. McMahon leaves behind his wife, daughter Madison, and a legacy of powerful screen performances.
