The FBI has released photos of a person of interest in the shocking assassination of activist Charlie Kirk. The 31-year-old Turning Point USA founder was shot once while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10.
Authorities believe the shooter fired from a nearby rooftop, then escaped by blending in with the crowd. “We have good video,” Utah’s Public Safety Commissioner Beau Mason said, adding that investigators are confident but will ask for public help if needed.

The FBI shared two images on X (formerly Twitter) and urged anyone with information to call 1-800-CALL-FBI. Special Agent Robert Bohls confirmed a “high-powered, bolt-action rifle” was found in a wooded area near the scene.
Kirk’s assassination has left the nation stunned and raised urgent questions about security at public events. As one investigator said, “We are determined to find whoever did this.”
Do you think the FBI’s public appeal will speed up the capture of the suspect?
