The FBI has confirmed the arrest of Tyler Robinson, the man accused of killing Charlie Kirk.
Kirk, 31, was shot while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10.
Utah Governor Spencer Cox opened today’s press conference with powerful words: “We got him.”
Officials revealed that a family member of Robinson tipped off police after he allegedly confessed.
The relative shared that Robinson had grown “more political” and had discussed Kirk’s upcoming visit.

Video footage showed Robinson’s Dodge Challenger near the scene and matched his clothing to the suspect.
Investigators confronted him on September 12, finding him wearing the same outfit seen on camera.
Governor Cox thanked the FBI, police, and the public for their help.
“I especially want to thank Charlie’s family,” Cox said. “Justice is coming.”
This breakthrough brings relief but also deep sadness.
