Federal investigators reportedly tried to keep the identity of Lance Twiggs, the transgender partner of suspect Tyler Robinson, private. Sources say Twiggs was “aghast” when told about Robinson’s alleged plot and quickly agreed to help investigators. “Here are all the messages,” Twiggs reportedly said before handing over key evidence.
Those Discord messages revealed Robinson had hidden his rifle near Utah Valley University and changed clothes after the shooting. This information led to Robinson’s arrest on aggravated murder charges, which could bring the death penalty.

Robinson, 22, grew up in a conservative Mormon family but is believed to have recently embraced far-left ideas. Governor Spencer Cox confirmed Robinson had spoken about hating Kirk shortly before the attack.
Charlie Kirk, 31, was shot in the neck during a campus debate about transgender mass shooters. Authorities are still combing through “every connection and every group” to fully understand Robinson’s motive.

What do you think — was this murder politically motivated, or something much more personal?
