Every parent knows the fear that rises when a child cannot be found. For the family of 10-year-old Gabrielle Terrelonge, that fear has turned into months of heartbreak and unanswered questions. The young girl has not been seen since late June, and now her mother is in custody.
Gabrielle was last spotted on June 30, stepping off a Greyhound bus in Orlando with her mother, Passha Davis. No one realized she was missing until October, when Passha was arrested alone during a shoplifting investigation. Once her father saw the arrest online, he immediately alerted police — and everyone discovered at the same time that Gabrielle had vanished.

The turning point came when Passha was re-arrested on child neglect charges. She told officers she didn’t know where her daughter was and claimed Gabrielle should be with her father. Court records reveal a long history of instability, including homelessness, mental health struggles, and periods of living out of hotels, shelters, and even a car.
Detectives now believe the pair moved between several Florida cities throughout 2024 and 2025. Gabrielle had attended school in Port St. Lucie but disappeared from official records after that. Investigators are searching abandoned hotels, shelters, and areas the mother and daughter were known to visit.

Gabrielle’s family is shattered but holding on to hope. Her grandmother spends days hanging missing posters, praying for her safe return. Her father describes a bright, loving girl who enjoyed nature and princess costumes — and says he last saw her in May during a police encounter.
As the search widens across Florida, Gabrielle’s family is begging anyone with information to speak up. Hope is still alive, and they believe even the smallest clue could help bring their little girl home.
