Amanda Mancino-Williams never imagined a simple train ride with her children would turn into a viral lesson on respect.
The mother of three had carefully reserved four seats from Cheltenham to Nottingham — only to find an elderly couple sitting in them. When she gently explained, they reportedly replied in “posh voices” that her tickets “didn’t matter.”
Her children squeezed onto two seats as the couple refused to move or even make eye contact. “I would always give up a seat for someone who needed it more,” Amanda said. “But to be dismissed like that, in front of my kids? That hurt.”
