He’s battled villains on screen — but now, Harrison Ford is speaking out about one threat he says is all too real.
At 83, the Star Wars and Indiana Jones legend says the Trump administration’s stance on climate change “scares the s**t” out of him. “He doesn’t have policies — only whims,” Ford told The Guardian. “The ignorance, the lies… it’s unbelievable. I don’t know of a greater criminal in history.”

A lifelong environmentalist, Ford has spent more than three decades championing conservation efforts. He’s spoken at the United Nations Climate Action Summit, worked with Conservation International, and narrated campaigns urging Americans to act before it’s too late. “Everything scientists warned us about is coming true,” he said. “But we’re still clinging to the status quo.”
Still, even in frustration, Ford holds onto hope. “We are incredibly adaptive, incredibly inventive,” he reflected. “If we focus on a problem, we can fix it. We just need the will to change.”

Just days after being honored in Chicago for his conservation work, Ford shared a quiet memory — a childhood moment with a wild red fox. “It looked at me,” he said. “And I knew — I was part of nature.”
