Hayley Erbert Cries as She Receives a Standing Ovation During Her Return to Derek Hough’s Tour

Hayley Erbert, a professional dancer, recently returned to the stage after a traumatic brain injury in December. During Derek Hough’s Symphony of Dance tour, she performed alongside him, receiving a standing ovation from the audience and bringing her to tears of joy. This comeback is remarkable, considering her hospitalization just four months ago.

A video on TikTok captured the emotional moment, showing Erbert wiping tears as the crowd cheered. Lindsay Arnold, a Dancing With the Stars pro, praised Erbert, calling her the strongest and most inspiring person she knows.

Erbert’s injury, a cranial hematoma from a burst blood vessel, required emergency surgery and a craniectomy. Despite this, she has made an astonishing recovery, returning to dancing sooner than expected. Her resilience and strength have been admired by many, including her husband, Derek Hough, who has been supportive throughout her journey.

The Symphony of Dance tour resumed in April, with Erbert’s return marking a special and emotional moment for everyone involved. Her dedication to her craft and her recovery have been inspiring, and her return to the stage is a testament to her courage and determination.
