Hollywood is mourning the loss of Diane Keaton, and her close friend Sarah Paulson was seen in tears outside the late actress’s Los Angeles home. The American Horror Story star looked heartbroken as she hugged another visitor before quietly leaving in her car. Keaton, beloved for films like The Family Stone and Annie Hall, passed away at 79.

Paulson and Keaton shared a long friendship. In a 2021 interview, Paulson joked, “What makes your heart sing? (You can say me.)” Keaton sweetly replied, “Of course, Sarah — you make my heart sing.” The two were often spotted dining together in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood with Paulson’s partner, actress Holland Taylor.
Since Keaton’s death, many stars have shared emotional tributes. Father of the Bride co-star Steve Martin posted, “Loved,” along with Keaton’s iconic “La dee da” line. Mandy Moore wrote, “She was my hero. Working with her was the honor of a lifetime.”

Known for her charm, wit, and timeless style, Keaton left behind two children she adored. As one friend said, “It felt like she’d be here forever — dazzling us all.”
