During an audition for a romantic role when Ortega was just 15 or 16, she felt uncomfortable with an intimate scene. Boyce, sensing her discomfort, immediately stopped. “We both just kinda looked at each other, and we were like, ‘No, we can’t do this,'” Ortega recalled.
