Kevin Spacey’s life has taken a dramatic turn after years of legal battles and public scrutiny. Once one of Hollywood’s highest-paid actors, he is now facing a harsh new reality. The star who once enjoyed a fortune estimated at up to $70 million says he is now homeless and living wherever work takes him.
Spacey’s downfall began in 2017 when actor Anthony Rapp accused him of sexual assault dating back to 1986. Netflix quickly cut ties with him, ending his role on House of Cards. Although Spacey apologized and was later found not liable in Rapp’s civil case, more men soon came forward with accusations of their own.

In 2022, he faced criminal charges in the UK, including multiple counts of sexual assault. Seven additional charges followed later that year. Spacey was ultimately acquitted of all charges, but the financial damage had already been done. He says he owed “many millions” in legal fees, wiping out nearly everything he had.
The actor revealed that his Baltimore home was auctioned off as his money ran out. With little work available, he now moves between hotels and Airbnbs, trying to rebuild a career that once seemed untouchable. “I literally have no home,” he said, describing the heavy toll of the past seven years.
Despite the hardships, Spacey says he remains hopeful. He has taken smaller roles, worked with first-time filmmakers, and even performed in a variety show overseas. He believes that one call from a major director could change everything.

For now, he waits, convinced that his comeback is only a moment away.
