Ozzy Osbourne has died at the age of 76, with his family confirming he passed away “surrounded by love.” His wife, Sharon Osbourne, fulfilled his final wish just weeks before his death.
Ozzy, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019, had been struggling with several health issues. Sharon arranged for him to return to his hometown of Aston, UK, to perform at the Back to the Beginning benefit concert. The event, featuring Black Sabbath, Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, and Anthrax, raised $189 million for charity. “The only place that we could do it would have been Aston, because that’s where Ozzy was born and grew up,” Sharon said. “It became a celebration of the music.”

After his performance, Ozzy told fans: “You’ve no idea how I feel – thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
Following his death, Aston Villa Football Club and countless fans worldwide shared heartfelt tributes. Ozzy is survived by Sharon, their children Aimee, Kelly, and Jack, as well as his grandchildren. His legacy as the “Prince of Darkness” and a rock legend will live on.
