Isabel returns home early to surprise her husband, Paul, but instead finds him in bed with another woman, Jane. Shockingly, Paul remains unfazed. “Hey! Jane, this is my wife, Isabel,” he says coolly. Jane, equally indifferent, responds, “Hi.” Isabel is devastated when Paul insists Jane move in, dismissing her pain. “We should make this a regular thing,” he announces smugly. Feeling trapped, Isabel realizes she must act wisely to protect her children.
Paul, a powerful man, threatens to take everything from her. “Without me, you’re nothing,” he reminds her coldly. Desperate, Isabel contacts a lawyer, Charles, but he refuses, saying, “Your husband is too powerful and dangerous.” With no other option, Isabel devises a plan. She tries to convince Jane to betray Paul, offering her money. Jane hesitates before countering, “Let’s do 70/30, and I’m in.”
Just as they plan, Paul catches them. “I won’t hit you, but I promise to make your life unbearable!” he hisses. Isabel feigns obedience but later sneaks into Paul’s office, uncovering incriminating evidence. Realizing she’s been seen on security cameras, she rushes to send the documents to the authorities.
Paul attempts to have her institutionalized, but the police arrive just in time. “Mr. Yeats, you’re under arrest,” an officer declares. To Isabel’s surprise, Charles stands among them. Jane, defeated, mutters, “I should have taken your offer.” Isabel, now free, walks away with newfound strength, ready to start a new life with her children.
