A woman from Colombia has made unusual claims about a long-term experience she says lasted more than 20 years.
Paola Flórez told a local television program that she believed a spirit visited her regularly at night while she slept. She said the encounters began when she was young and continued for many years. According to her account, she felt an emotional bond and believed the presence returned nightly.
She shared the story on Sin Carreta, which airs on Canal 1. She said the visits always began without her calling for them and that she eventually felt attached to the presence.
Flórez said the experience ended when she finally saw what she believed was the spirit’s face. She described it as frightening, with sharp features. After that moment, she said she refused any further contact because she felt scared.
Experts offered different views. A psychologist said such experiences are very rare and may have psychological explanations. A parapsychologist, however, said he believed her story and suggested it fit descriptions found in folklore.
