Martha believed in her husband Jake’s dream of starting a farm. She sold her parents’ lake house and was on her way to transfer the rest of her savings. But everything changed when she accidentally picked up Jake’s phone—and answered a call from a woman named Alex, saying, “I’ve been waiting for you all night.”
Shocked, Martha didn’t confront him. Instead, she tracked Jake to another woman’s house. There, Alex revealed she thought Jake was leaving Martha for her—and had also given him money. Realizing they were both being played, the women formed a plan.
