I was diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer in my 40s – the only sign was a problem millions suffer everyday

A 48-year-old father, Shawn Michael, discovered he had stage-four bowel cancer after experiencing what he thought was simple constipation.

He is now receiving chemotherapy and sharing his story to remind people not to ignore persistent digestive problems and to see a doctor if symptoms continue.
