Aleia Kuhn, 15, died in a tragic accident during a youth event at Philippi Baptist Church on June 18, just days before her 16th birthday. Her loss has shattered her family and friends, who remember her as a joyful, faith-filled girl.
Her mother, Amanda, called Aleia her “sweetest baby girl” and “forever angel,” sharing, “She was too good for this earth but I’m too selfish to not want her back.” Amanda asked for prayers for their family and Aleia’s boyfriend, Carter Spence.
Aleia’s father, Christopher, posted a loving tribute, writing, “I hear your voice saying, ‘I love you daddy.’ I will for the rest of my life!” He praised her unwavering faith and promised to see her again someday.
Born in Georgia, Aleia was kind, bright, and beloved at Skipstone Academy. Her family believes she wouldn’t return if given the choice, as Heaven is now her perfect home. Though gone too soon, Aleia’s light lives on in the hearts of everyone she touched.
