A Scottish couple have spoken openly about their relationship ahead of their upcoming wedding. David and his fiancée Ayla met on Instagram in 2022 and quickly formed a strong bond. Within six months, they moved in together and began building a shared life.

David knew Ayla was transgender before they started talking. He says this has never been an issue for him. He sees her simply as a woman and describes himself as a straight man attracted to women. Despite outside judgment and online criticism, he remains confident in their relationship.
Ayla admits she sometimes worries about public pressure, but she says their commitment to each other is genuine. While some members of her family initially questioned the relationship, the couple say they have focused on their future rather than negativity.

The pair now work together creating online content, which they say gives them more flexibility and time as a couple. Beyond their careers, they share long-term goals. David has spoken about settling down, getting married and raising children together.
Both say they want their story to show that lasting relationships are built on trust, respect and mutual support. For them, love is about partnership and shared values, not outside opinions.
