Tensions in the Middle East have surged as Iran fired missiles at US military bases in Qatar and Iraq. This comes after the US bombed three nuclear sites in Iran over the weekend under Operation Midnight Hammer, using stealth bombers and submarines. President Trump called the attack a success and warned Iran not to retaliate.
Ignoring Trump’s warning, Iran launched what it called a “mighty and successful response” against Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar and the Ain al-Assad base in Iraq. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated, “We neither initiated the war nor seek it. But we will not leave invasion… without answer.”

Explosions were heard over Doha, and Qatar quickly closed its airspace. The US embassy told citizens to shelter in place. Thankfully, Qatar’s air defenses intercepted the missiles, and officials confirmed there were no casualties.
As both sides stand firm, the threat of further attacks looms large. Global leaders now watch anxiously, hoping this conflict does not spiral out of control.
