Isabella Strahan, 19, recently shared a positive update on her battle with medulloblastoma, a brain tumor. In a YouTube vlog, she tearfully revealed that her doctor said she only needs two more rounds of chemotherapy, completing her treatment in May instead of July.
“This news brought me so much joy,” Isabella said. “I’m looking forward to having a summer to rest before returning to USC in the fall.”
In a heartwarming moment, Isabella’s twin sister, Sophia, surprised her at the end of the vlog. “Today just got so much better because Sophia just surprised me. There are a lot of happy tears today,” Isabella shared.
Isabella’s journey began in October, during her freshman year at USC, when she experienced symptoms. After surgery to remove the tumor, she has been documenting her journey on YouTube, raising awareness about medulloblastoma.
Isabella’s story is one of courage and resilience, and we wish her continued health and happiness.
