Jamie Lee Curtis, 65, has traded her signature pixie cut for a shoulder-length gray bob while on the set of “Freaky Friday 2.” Seen on July 1, Curtis looked almost unrecognizable with her new hairstyle, an all-black outfit, and a cozy cardigan. This film, set to premiere in 2025, reunites her with Lindsay Lohan, reprising their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman.
Curtis revealed the sequel was long overdue. “As I went around the world with ‘Halloween Ends,’ people wanted to know if there was going to be another ‘Freaky Friday,'” she said. Disney shared a photo of the duo holding hands in front of their trailers, captioned, “The Colemans are back and coming to theatres in 2025!”
While Curtis’ new look might be for the movie, she sported her iconic gray pixie cut in other promotional images, suggesting varied hairstyles in the film. Celebrity hairstylist Sean James has previously styled Curtis, using FHI Heat tools for events like the 95th Academy Awards.
Curtis has always advocated for natural beauty. In a 2021 interview, she said, “I tried to do everything you can do to your hair. Personally, I felt it [was] humiliating.” She embraces aging gracefully, exclaiming, “We’re all gonna die! Why do you want to look 17 when you’re 70!?”
