Jamie Lee Curtis shocked listeners by crying over Charlie Kirk’s death and even comparing him to Jesus. The Oscar-winning actress spoke emotionally on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast, saying Kirk’s assassination was “front of mind.”
“I disagreed with him on almost every point,” she admitted, “but I believe he was a man of faith.” Curtis said she hoped Kirk “felt connected to his faith” in his final moments.

Curtis, a longtime critic of Donald Trump, said she was deeply shaken by the public shooting at Utah Valley University. “I don’t ever want to see this footage of this man being shot,” she said, warning that society is becoming numb to violence.
Her emotional tribute surprised many, as Kirk was a vocal critic of transgender rights and Curtis’ own daughter is trans. Still, she urged compassion, reminding listeners that Kirk was “a father, a husband, and a man of faith.”
