Jason Momoa recently treated his two children, Nakoa-Wolf, 16, and Lola, 17, to their first Metallica concert—and shared the proud-parent moment with fans online.

In Instagram photos posted in mid-December 2024, the Aquaman star showed the family enjoying Metallica’s “All Within My Hands Helping Hands” show on December 13 at the YouTube Theatre in Los Angeles. The snapshots include backstage-style moments, big smiles, and meet-and-greets with band members. Momoa wrote that he felt honoured to introduce Metallica on stage and highlighted the band’s charity foundation, All Within My Hands.
Fans quickly focused on how grown up the teens look. Many commented that Nakoa-Wolf closely resembles his father, while others praised Lola’s look and noted how tall she’s become.

On stage, Momoa spoke warmly about what the band’s music has meant to him, saying it helped him through difficult periods and gave him a healthy outlet. He also told the crowd that the night was extra special because his kids were watching him live out a personal dream beside his heroes—and seeing Metallica’s impact beyond music through their foundation.
Momoa has often said fatherhood is his top priority and that he tries to stay present and connected with his children. He has also shared that he keeps their first names tattooed on his chest in their childhood handwriting, a permanent reminder of their bond.
