John Travolta, from a family of entertainers, left high school at 17 to pursue acting. After starring in “Grease” on Broadway, he became a heartthrob in the late 70s. His career slowed in the 80s but revived in the 90s, solidifying his status in Hollywood.
Travolta is also a trained pilot with licenses for multiple aircraft. In the late 90s, he built a home in Florida’s Jumbolair Aviation Estates, designed for residents to fly directly to their homes. Apart from acting and flying, he’s a singer with several Billboard hits and a devoted family man.
Travolta met Kelly Preston on the set of “The Experts” in 1989. They married in 1991, had their first child Jett in 1992, and daughter Ella Bleu in 2000. Tragically, Jett died in 2009 at 16. Despite the risks, Kelly chose to have another baby at 47, and Benjamin was born in 2010.
In 2020, Kelly died of breast cancer at 57. Travolta continues to raise their children, celebrating Benjamin’s 13th birthday in November 2023. Travolta shared, “I can’t believe my baby boy is now a teenager. Ben turns 13 today. I love you my son!”
