Rachel Booth, a 38-year-old mother of three from Northwich, was reported missing on Saturday, July 19. After three days of intense searches, Cheshire Police confirmed a body believed to be Rachel’s has been found. “Her family have been made aware and are being supported by specialist officers,” police said in a statement, adding that formal identification is still pending.
Rachel was last seen on CCTV at 3:50 a.m. near Sandiway Garage on the A556. She had been wearing black leggings, a black top, and trainers after a 45-minute run. Police, along with the Underwater Search Team and Cheshire Search and Rescue, focused their efforts in the Oakmere area of Delamere.

Superintendent Paul Hughes had earlier urged the public to help, saying they were “increasingly concerned for her welfare.” The nearby Wild Shore Delamere watersports park temporarily closed to assist the investigation.
Authorities are asking for privacy for Rachel’s family during this difficult time. Anyone with further information can contact Cheshire Police via 101 or their website, quoting IML-2136439.
