Hillary Clinton testified before a congressional committee on February 26 as part of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation.
In the closed-door session, she said she had no knowledge of Epstein’s crimes and denied ever meeting him, flying on his plane, or visiting his properties. She repeated that statement multiple times during questioning.
The deposition was briefly paused after a photo of Clinton testifying was leaked online and shared on social media. The leak sparked debate among lawmakers about whether committee rules had been broken.
Afterward, Clinton described the session as long and repetitive. She said she was asked about unrelated topics, including conspiracy theories, and felt the time could have been better spent.
Clinton also called for former President Donald Trump to testify under oath about his own connections mentioned in Epstein-related files. Bill Clinton was scheduled to appear before the committee the following day.
