A storm of conspiracy theories erupted after Russia released behind-the-scenes footage of Vladimir Putin with Donald Trump. The two leaders met in Anchorage, Alaska, marking their first face-to-face in seven years.
While Trump called the talks “extremely productive,” no ceasefire deal in Ukraine was reached. Instead, attention quickly shifted from politics to Putin’s unusual behavior in the leaked video. The Russian leader was seen standing with his back to the camera, legs twitching as he spoke with Trump.

“This isn’t Putin – no way. His body language is so weird,” one commenter claimed. Another added: “A KGB Master Spy wouldn’t shake his legs like that.” Many suggested a body double was sent in his place, fueling online speculation.
Experts, however, dismissed the theory. Body language analyst Inbaal Honigman pointed to an identifiable mark confirming it was Putin himself. Still, she admitted he now seems “a little slower and a little stiffer.”
The rumors highlight how even small gestures can spark global debate—and leave the world asking who we’re really seeing.
