Tylor Chase, a former star of Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, has drawn renewed attention after videos of him on the streets in Riverside, California circulated online. Authorities said they did not know how long he had been “experiencing homelessness,” though police described him as “cordial and cooperative” and said their engagement team contacts him weekly to offer resources, including temporary shelter options.
Chase has disputed that he is homeless, saying: “It’s not really like that, I have friends and family. I stay around here locally. My mom is here. I have a lot of good people helping me.” He added that he was “not really active homeless at this time” and mentioned considering a move back to Georgia to see his father, along with seeking housing support.

A GoFundMe set up for Chase was discouraged by his mother, who said he would not “benefit” from the money. She said: “I have gotten him several phones, but he loses them within a day or two. He cannot manage money or his meds by himself.”
On December 23, co-star Daniel Curtis Lee shared an update on Instagram after meeting Chase. Lee said they got pizza and FaceTimed fellow former co-star Devon Werkheiser.

Lee later showed Chase checked into a hotel and said they discussed the possibility of rehab. “Well fed and safe from the rain. Hotel secured! One step closer to long term treatment,” he wrote.
