Major US airport on red alert as passenger is diagnosed with world’s most infectious disease

Health officials warned of possible exposure to Measles at O’Hare International Airport.

An infected traveler was reportedly in Terminal 1 on April 22 and 23, potentially exposing many passengers. The person later developed symptoms and tested positive.

Officials say anyone who may have been exposed should monitor for symptoms and contact a healthcare provider.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, measles is one of the most contagious diseases, spreading easily among unvaccinated people.
