Dominic Milton Trott, a man who tried 182 different drugs, says his mission was never about thrill-seeking — it was about saving lives. In a YouTube explainer, he opened up about the tragic reason behind his extreme experiment.
Trott authored a “drug bible,” documenting over 100 substances, how to use them safely, and which ones to avoid. His goal? To prevent needless deaths. “People are dying of ignorance… making fundamental mistakes,” he explained. Many users he saw on forums would suddenly vanish — a grim sign they’d overdosed or worse.
Realizing a lack of reliable safety info, Trott decided to collect and share detailed data — including onset times, dosages, and effects — all based on firsthand experience. “If I could make something deeper, like a book, it might save some lives,” he said.
Though he’s had his share of traumatic experiences, Trott refuses to glamorize drug use. Instead, he’s trying to educate and warn. His work might not be taught in schools — but for some, it could be life-saving.
