“I developed epilepsy at 73,” Michael shared. “A mini-stroke caused uncontrollable seizures. It’s scary because there’s a real risk of brain damage.” He explained that he suffers from cluster seizures, often experiencing several attacks in a short time.
Despite the frightening diagnosis, Michael reassured fans: “It doesn’t really affect my life otherwise, but I’d like to connect with other sufferers.” He added that he now keeps emergency medication at home in case of sudden seizures.
