Minneapolis mayor speaks out as new video from ICE agent’s phone shows moments before Renee Good shooting

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey is attacking the government after a fatal shooting.

Fatal Shooting Sparks Outrage

An ICE agent shot Renee Good on January 7. The 37-year-old mother died during raids in her neighborhood. Initial footage shows an agent trying to open her car door. Renee drove away from the scene. Then, a second agent fired his weapon at her.

New Phone Footage Found

Alpha News obtained a new video from an agent’s phone. The clip shows Renee speaking to an officer.

“That’s fine, dude. I’m not mad at you.” Renee said in the video.

However, another officer yelled at her to leave the car. She drove off and shots were heard. Someone in the video called her a slur as she left.

Narrative Called Bullshit

Kristi Noem said Renee used her car as a weapon. She even called Renee a domestic terrorist. Mayor Frey says this narrative is “bullshit.” He claims the video shows a person simply trying to leave. The Mayor noted that no agent was run over by the car.

Mayor Demands Justice

Frey has told ICE to leave Minneapolis. He said the agent who fired the shots walked away with a hop. Meanwhile, Renee is dead while the agent held a phone. Frey believes the footage speaks for itself. He continues to defend the victim against the federal claims.
