Sometimes, fate has a remarkable way of bringing people together. Roshin Ali, who ran away from home at 13, never imagined she’d one day marry the officer who once searched for her.

Ali fled her Tennessee home fearing her abusive father. Officer Tyler Schrupp was assigned to find her but never met her then. Twelve years later, Ali began working at the sheriff’s department — and destiny stepped in. “He wouldn’t stop staring at me but couldn’t say a word,” Ali recalled with a smile.
When they finally talked, the truth unfolded. Schrupp realized he had once searched for her as a missing child. “It’s crazy,” he said. “Back then I was looking for you — now we’re together.” The couple got engaged in 2024 and now share a baby boy.
Their story of survival and love has touched millions online. “He’s my hero,” Ali said softly. A painful past turned into a story of hope — and proof that love can heal even the deepest wounds.
