A grieving mother is urging parents to be cautious after her young son died in a home accident.
Idaho mom Lindsay Dewey shared the heartbreaking loss of her 22-month-old son, Reed, on Instagram. Just days earlier, she pleaded: “Reed has had a traumatic accident, and we need a miracle. Please pray with us.” Sadly, Reed did not survive.

The accident happened when a large mirror tipped over and struck him. Dewey believes her son pulled at a suction toy, causing the mirror to fall. “The mirror hit his head in the most precise way and fractured his skull,” she explained.
Safety experts warn that tip-over accidents are more common than many realize. Reports show televisions, dressers, and other heavy furniture are often involved in child fatalities.
Dewey hopes her warning will save others: “People who have mirrors in their homes with little kids need to know this.”

Her powerful message is a reminder that small precautions can prevent devastating tragedies. Please share this story—it may protect another child’s life.
