Ben Needham vanished on the Greek island of Kos in 1991 when he was just 21 months old. He was last seen playing outside his grandparents’ farmhouse. Despite searches at the time and many investigations since, no clear trace of him has ever been found.

Years later, a theory emerged that Ben had been accidentally killed by a digger during renovation work nearby. His mother, Kerry Needham, does not believe this explanation. She points out that deep excavations found no evidence and says the known facts do not support an accident or a cover-up.
Kerry believes her son may have been abducted and sold through an illegal adoption network. She says child trafficking was widespread in Greece during that period. Over the years, tips from locals and statements linked to former officers have strengthened her belief that Ben may have been taken off the island shortly after he disappeared.

Recently, a woman contacted Kerry claiming her partner could be Ben. The information has been passed to South Yorkshire Police, and a DNA test is planned. Kerry remains careful and realistic, as similar claims in the past have proven false.
More than 35 years later, Kerry says she would stop searching if she believed her son had died. Instead, she trusts her instinct that he may still be alive. Despite the emotional toll, she continues to seek answers and hopes the full truth will one day come out.
