North West, 12, sparks face piercing speculation after backlash over ‘risky’ body modification

Kim Kardashian’s 12-year-old daughter, North West, has sparked fresh online chatter about body modification after appearing to wear a bridge piercing in a new TikTok video.

According to the Daily Mail, the jewelry was not a real piercing. The outlet reported that North was wearing a “piercing sticker” — a temporary adhesive accessory made to look like a bridge piercing.

The latest look follows earlier backlash. In November, North showed off a similar faux piercing on her finger and drew criticism. Her style has continued to evolve in a bold, attention-grabbing way as her social media presence grows.

In late December, North revealed custom grillz made by celebrity jeweler Johnny Dang. More recently, she swapped them for black grillz designed by influencer Sukii Baby.

In her newest clips, she wore a long turquoise wig with face-framing bangs. She paired a baggy white Balenciaga T-shirt with a dark gray pleated mini skirt, sheer tights, and furry black boots. She also wore a chrome chain with a large skull pendant featuring blue stone eyes, plus full makeup with false lashes, blush, lipstick, and lip liner.

North appeared alongside a friend named Leah, later posting an Instagram birthday message: “happy birthday @layhay103 ilysm twin!” After launching her Instagram profile two weeks ago, she has already reached 1.4 million followers. Her bio notes the account is “managed by parents,” and she also shares a TikTok account with Kim.
