A New Jersey nurse says she was suspended for speaking out after a surgeon allegedly celebrated Charlie Kirk’s death. Lexi Kuenzle, 33, claims Dr. Matthew Jung declared, “I hate Charlie Kirk. He had it coming.”
Kuenzle said she was “angry and upset,” reminding the doctor he had a duty to value human life. She reported him to hospital management and shared her outrage on Instagram, calling his comments “a disgrace.”

The next day, she says HR suspended her without pay pending investigation. An email from her union rep allegedly warned she “may be terminated” and advised her to seek other work.
Kuenzle has since filed a lawsuit against Englewood Health and Dr. Jung, accusing them of wrongful termination. “How can a doctor celebrate a murder and keep practicing?” she asked.

Kirk, 31, was shot while speaking at Utah Valley University. His suspected killer, Tyler Robinson, was later arrested. Should medical professionals face consequences for openly celebrating violence?
