Some pastors and rabbis claim the Rapture—a Biblical event where believers are taken to heaven—may occur on September 23, 2025. The date coincides with the Jewish Feast of Trumpets, a holiday some link to Jesus’s promised return.
Pastor Joshua Mhlakela from South Africa shared a vision online, saying: “I saw Jesus on his throne. He told me, I am coming soon.” His message has reached hundreds of thousands on YouTube and TikTok.

Other religious leaders, like Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, also connect the prophecy to the Feast of Trumpets. Still, skeptics warn against setting exact dates. As one New Jersey church member said: “If you’re wrong, it ruins credibility and damages faith.”
The Bible itself says no one knows the day or hour, yet signs such as wars, disasters, and even “blood moons” fuel speculation. Whether true or not, the prophecy has stirred powerful emotions.
Do you believe September 23 could mark the return of Jesus—or just another false alarm?
