People can’t believe their eyes after Trump appears to fall asleep during own military parade

Donald Trump celebrated turning 79 with a $45 million military parade in Washington, DC, marking the US Army’s 250th anniversary. Tanks rolled through the streets, jets roared above, and thousands cheered under a sea of flags.

But during the grand show, cameras caught Trump appearing to nod off beside First Lady Melania. Footage of him dozing spread online, with critics mocking, “Don Snorleone strikes again!” Some called him too old to lead and slammed the event as a waste of money.

Despite the awkward moment, Trump praised the military in an eight-minute speech, saying, “Every other country celebrates their victories. It’s about time America did too.” He promised that America remains the “hottest country in the world.”

The parade’s turnout also faced scrutiny. Though officials claimed 250,000 attended, photos suggested a much smaller crowd. Social media buzzed with jokes about empty spots and lawn chairs. For many, the sleepy president overshadowed the pricey show of force.
