The unsettling video of his final moments has gone viral, with some claiming a shark appears near him before he disappears underwater. One viewer insisted, “He was attacked by a shark and dragged under.” An expert said the clip does look like a shark is close.
However, other specialists reject this theory. The United Cajun Navy says ocean experts see no evidence of a shark attack and point out there was no blood in the water. Dive safety expert Butch Hendrick suggests strong currents or breath loss likely caused Robbins’ death.
