Police in Arizona say they now believe Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Savannah Guthrie, may have been taken from her home against her will. The case has shifted from a missing person search to a possible abduction.

Nancy Guthrie was last seen at her home in the Catalina Foothills near Tucson on Saturday night. When she did not attend church the next morning, a friend contacted police. Sheriff Chris Nanos said investigators do not believe she left on her own. Her physical mobility is limited, making it unlikely she wandered away.
Police say Nancy is mentally sharp and does not suffer from dementia. This has increased concern. Investigators believe someone entered the home during the night and removed her without permission. Officers are reviewing home security footage in the area and examining possible evidence found at the house.

Savannah Guthrie has thanked the public for their support and asked for continued prayers. She urged anyone with information, no matter how small, to contact local authorities. Police say the investigation is ongoing and their main focus remains on bringing Nancy Guthrie home safely.
