Beloved Food Network chef Anne Burrell has passed away, leaving the culinary world in shock. Famous chefs like Rachael Ray and Shirley Chung have shared heartfelt tributes, celebrating her bold spirit and mentorship.

Shirley Chung posted sweet photos and recalled, “We were just texting about eating tacos and knitting blankets last week.” Rachael Ray mourned her close friend, saying, “I can’t quite believe it — such a strong, vibrant, fearless woman, so full of life and love, could be gone so soon.”

Burrell was found unresponsive in her New York home by her husband, Stuart Claxton. Emergency responders confirmed cardiac arrest; the cause remains under investigation.

Known for shows like Worst Cooks in America and Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, Burrell inspired countless home cooks. She believed cooking should be fun, saying, “Your food knows how you’re feeling when you cook it and reacts accordingly.” Her warmth and zest for life will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
