Russia has condemned the US for bombing Iran’s nuclear sites, warning it could push the world toward a “nuclear disaster.” President Trump ordered strikes on Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, calling the mission a “spectacular military success.”
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi met Russian leaders in Moscow on June 23, asking for more help against the US and Israel. At the UN, Russia’s ambassador said the US had “opened a Pandora’s box,” risking “catastrophes and suffering” and pushing the Middle East to the edge of full-scale war. Meanwhile, Iran vows to strike US interests in response.
Russia offered to mediate between the US, Israel, and Iran but Trump dismissed it, saying, “Mediate your own [war].” With rising threats and no clear peace plan, global tensions are now dangerously high.
