Scott Bakula Took 15 Years to Propose to ‘NCIS’ Co-star after His 1st Marriage Ended Due to Work

Scott Bakula, known for his roles in “Quantum Leap” and “Star Trek: Enterprise,” has had a remarkable career spanning over forty years. However, his personal life, particularly his marriages, has also been of interest.

Bakula’s first marriage was to Krista Neumann, whom he met on Broadway. They had two children but divorced in 1995 due to his demanding schedule. Bakula later regretted missing his kids’ formative years.

In 2009, Bakula married Chelsea Field, whom he had been with for 15 years. Learning from his past, he prioritized family time, ensuring he was home by 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and coaching his kids’ sports teams.

Bakula and Field, both talented actors, occasionally act as each other’s love interests on screen, showcasing their chemistry. Despite “NCIS: New Orleans” ending, fans hope to see this duo on screen together again, showcasing their undeniable connection both on and off screen.
