Shocking moment Ghost Adventures star learns about wife’s murder-for-hire plot while filming episode

He was chasing ghosts on camera — when real-life horror found him instead.

“Ghost Adventures” star Aaron Goodwin was filming a new episode when he got the call no one could imagine — police were at his home, and his wife, Victoria, had just been arrested.

Investigators say Victoria secretly plotted to hire a hitman to murder her husband. The couple had married in 2022, and Aaron believed they shared a happy life. “For seven years I thought I was in the most loving relationship,” he said. “I was loyal to her and did whatever I could to make her happy.”

But behind the scenes, Victoria was allegedly messaging a Florida inmate about her plan. In one chilling message, she reportedly wrote, “Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence — not divorce.”

Now, the shocking moment Aaron learned the truth will air in a new episode of Ghost Adventures.

Love, trust, betrayal — sometimes the darkest stories aren’t found in haunted houses, but in the people closest to us.
