Simon Cowell, 65, delighted fans by posting a rare photo of his 11-year-old son, Eric. The pair were seen backstage at America’s Got Talent, joined by the family’s chihuahua, Daisy.
In the Instagram snaps, Simon wore his usual black T-shirt and aviator sunglasses, while Eric sported a bright blue jersey with the AGT logo. Alongside the pictures, Simon wrote simply: “Everyone’s happy.”
The night’s results saw three acts move into the semi-finals — 10-year-old guitarist Bay Melnick Virgolino, the Leo High School Choir, and dance troupe Unreal. They join other fan favorites competing in September for a place in the finals.
Simon shares Eric with fiancée Lauren Silverman, 48. He has often spoken about fatherhood, recently admitting, “I’m very worried about kids having phones too young. I’d be petrified of him seeing things too early.”
For now, Simon seems happiest sharing quiet family moments. Fans can’t help but ask — will Eric follow in his famous father’s footsteps one day?
